Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to purchase a meal plan?
All freshman students living on campus and sophomore students who live in non-apartment style units are required to purchase a meal plan as a part of their Housing Contract. Commuter students are not required to purchase a meal plan but are encouraged to review the many plans available to see if one best fits your needs. Students have a choice to eat at either of the two dining locations on campus. Mitchell’s Dining Hall is our all -you –care- to -eat buffet style dining location where meal plans and dining dollars are accepted. Or try T- Rex Grill (Starbucks) which is our quick style grill and coffee shop where dining dollars can be used.
Can I change my meal plan if it does not fit my needs?
Yes! You can change your meal plan if it does not fit your needs. Meal plans can be changed only during the first three days of classes, subject to proration and only if the dining dollar balance can be transferred to the new plan.
May I bring a guest to dine with me using my meal plan?
Yes! You may bring a guest to eat in Mitchell’s Dining Hall and the T-Rex Grill by using your dining dollars. If you have a block meal plan you may use your meals to pay for a guest in Mitchell’s as well. You can always use the dining dollars that come with your meal plan for your guests. Note: There will be special opportunities for you to use your dining dollars for guests!
